Chrome Extension

The Podavera Chrome extension requests the following permissions and collects data as described:

• Cookies: we read your LinkedIn session cookies to authenticate engagement actions. These are transmitted securely to our servers and stored encrypted.
• Storage: the extension uses local browser storage to save your preferences (auto-engage settings, session state). This data stays on your device.
• LinkedIn page access: the extension accesses linkedin.com pages to perform likes and comments on posts assigned to you by your pods.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide the core service: automating LinkedIn engagement within your pods.
• To track and allocate engagement credits fairly across pod members.
• To improve the reliability and performance of our service.
• To communicate with you about your account and provide support.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Your data is only used to operate the Podavera service. We may share anonymized, aggregated statistics that cannot identify individual users.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted storage of sensitive data such as LinkedIn session cookies, and secure authentication via better-auth with rate limiting and two-factor authentication support.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Engagement logs may be retained in anonymized form for analytics purposes.
